With an ever-growing awareness of ethical farming and the increasing demand for healthier living, Jenaan is all set to corner the market with its supply of free-farm and slow-growth chickens. Proudly boasting a ‘Produced in the UAE’ label, the parent stock poultry farm and hatchery in Abu Dhabi, will oer high-quality meat, free of added hormones and antibiotics. The first-of-its-kind project, which partners with farmers, will be a significant contributor to food security in the UAE, supplementing the need for imported products. Providing multiple economic benefits, it guarantees income to contracted farmers on an annuity basis while their inputs are financed, benefiting their cash flow.
The unique business model will see local farmers grow day-old chickens, provided by Jenaan, along with technical services during the growing cycle to ensure quality standards. The chickens will be bought and processed by Jenaan once they are ready for market. Jenaan will construct a state-of-the-a facility across the entire value chain, including a parent stock unit, a hatchery and a slaughter house, creating diverse employment opportunities.
